Can Omarion Speed to the Top?

Tomorrow marks the release of Omarion's
3rd solo offering, Ollusion. With the release
of his first single "I Get it In", many of his
fans, as well as Smoove and Myself,
were disappointed that he left behind
the sultry vocals for a rap/talk demeanor.
Followed by the low budget video for
"I Get It In" the proclaimed
"King of Dance," left his fans wondering
what happened to the Omarion we
once knew.

For us here at The DBC, we have always supported
Omarion and his ventures. Although with the release
of Ollusion we did not know what to expect, he seemed
to be straying from what his fans love the most about him;
The braids, the vocals, and the quality of his performance
in music videos.

And now he releases his follow up single,
(because Hoodie was a fluke) "Speeding"
and hope is restored. It finally seems
that Omarion has found his lane. With
the release of a song like this, I truly
hope that this is a message to the fans that
the old Omarion I love is still there and that
he will again prove that he has earned his
right to be called King O.

Be sure to go out and support Omarion
tomorrow with the release of Ollusion.
We need to let him know this is what
we want from him. This lane.
Check back later this week
for Ollusion's album review.
